ARTFORUM Magazine reviewed Jerzy Janiszewski’s first exhibit in the United States (at CHARLES KRAUSE/REPORTING FINE ART in Washington)> Dec. 2011 - March 2012 < The reviewer specifically mentions Gazeta.

Comparing Janiszewski’s now-iconic logo for Lech Walesa’s Solidarity trade union movement, which became the symbol of the “velvet revolutions’ in Eastern Europe that ended the Cold War with the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, ARTFORUM said “equally compelling are the mixed media collages from Janiszewski’s 30-year exile working as a graphic designer in Paris and Barcelona…Gazeta, 1996, and Secret Message, 1994, make semiabstractoins from newspapers and other discarded printed material.”
